  • Tabletop games or gaming accessories reviewed include three Advanced Dungeons & and Dragons (2nd Edition) items: Battlesystem Skirmishes - Miniature Rules, Dark Sun, and Ravenloft: Book of Crypts.

  • The interior art "Burning Sun" (p. 73) which is credited to TSR (the former publisher of Advanced Dungeons & Dragons) in the table of contents may in fact be by Brom. However, the interior art "Burning Sun" (p. 70) is also credited to TSR in the contents but is clearly signed by Brom.
  • "Alberta the Reluctant Astronaut" is a three-panel comic strip.
  • The letter by David Wingrove had previously been circulated to members of the British Science FIction Association in December 1991.
