- "First electronic release, October 2003"
- Electronic version by WebWrights http://www.webwrights.com
- The cover image is a low-res version of Rubens's "Venus in Fur-Coat" also known as "Hélène Fourment in a Fur Wrap", also known as "Het Pelsken" (see Peter Paul Rubens 019.jpg.) When permission to reproduce this for a print version proved too expensive, a new cover, which showed one of the characters in the same position and style as the Rubens was substituted, and used in later versions of the ebook as well.
- The illustrated essay "Images" was not included in printed versions, again due to the cost of reproduction permissions, and the afterword was substituted.
- The ebook version has no page numbers.
- "They've Got Bread Mold..." is credited to Robert Gottlief in the TOC but to Robert Gottlieb on the page where the story starts. Grantvillegazette.com uses Gottlieb in the contents and in the full article.
