- On the back cover Gunnison credits "Henry Allan" as artist. ISFDB credits "Henry Alan" (with one "l") with a similar cover on another The Secret 6 issue. The latter name is used for this record.
- Interior art is uncredited but bears a signature which looks like a squarish "O" with a bar through it.
- Full-size interior art appears on pp. 2-3, 33, 50-51, 54-55, 62-63, 78-79, 90, 95, 100-101 & 106-107 and is presumed to be by the same artist. Only the first illustration is indexed here.
- On the copyright page the copyright date of "The Golden Alligator" is given as January 1934, even though the story was published in the January 1935 issue of The Secret 6. The latter date is used here.
