An earlier and shorter version of "The Road to Nowhere" was published as "Highway" in Fall 1942 issue of Science Fiction Quarterly under pseudonym of Wilfred Owen Morley. "Inquisitions" also reports on 3 other items: "An Annotated Checklist of Science Fiction Bibliographical Works" by Fred Lemer, "Index to the Science Fiction Magazines 1968" from NESFA and "A Reader's Guide to the Cthulhu Mythos" by Robert Weinberg.
