Series order (reading order) from author's website. According to the author's Web site, the first three novels in this series were originally sold to different publishers. For contract reasons, they had to be rewritten as standalones and were first published in that form. When the books were republished by St. Martin's in 2009, they were rewritten to restore series continuity. The third book, "Paradise City", was completely rewritten.
