Erisman Notes: According to Miller/Contento, the numbering continued from Star Detective, a non-genre magazine which had been published since May 1935, which is why the first issue is Volume 2, Number 6. (Tuck states that there were 7 issues starting with the October 1938 issue, but apparently the first genre issue appeared in April/May 1939.)
