The Keepsake

{{a|William Harrison Ainsworth}} edited The Keepsake for MDCCCXXXVIII, the original volume, sold by subscription for the 1827 Christmas gift season. Frederic Mansel Reynolds edited the second, in 1828 titled as for 1829, and most of those for the 1830s. The exceptions: • The Keepsake for MDCCCXXXVI [1835], "edited by the honourable Mrs. Norton", {{OCLC|270995294}} • The Keepsake for MDCCCXXXVII [1836], "edited by the Lady Emmeline Stuart Wortley." (quoting the title page) Among those first twelve annual volumes, Google Books provides full views of all nine by Reynolds and the one by Stuart-Wortley, at least (no single search is effective, 2019-12-12).
