Appleton's

Originally called Appletons' Journal, it was published under that name from April, 1869 to December, 1881. The name was then changed to Appleton's Magazine (yes, the placement of the apostrophe changed). It used this name until June, 1905, when it was changed to Appleton's Booklovers Magazine (Vol. VI, #1) in July 1905.
