First published 1900 in The Strand Magazine Vol 39:1,4 (Jan, Apr), with "Illustrations in Colour by Tom Browne, R.I." per volume index. The illustrator is Tom Browne (artist). Evidently from the Index to Vol XXXIX, p.ii-iv as bound, one article in each monthly issue was published with "illustrations in colour".
