Fairies (St. John Webb)

Up through 1930 these volumes were being released by "The Modern Art Society"; from 1932 on by "The Medici Society" (neither Abebooks nor WorldCat knows of a volume dated 1931). The 2nd impression of "House Fairies", undated but by "The Modern Art Society", lists all 13 volumes on the back cover, but in an order known ''not'' to be the publication order. Two volumes here (Orchard Fairies and Weather Fairies) are dated by WorldCat as "192-", were certainly in press by 1929, and are given that date here.
The verification copy and all copies of volumes on Abebooks are consistent with naming: E.g. The dust jacket name says "House Fairies", the board cover says "The House Fairies", the title page says "The House Fairies", and the listing on the back says "House Fairies". WorldCat consistently lists these books with "The" included, as do we.
