Bleiler's "Science-Fiction: The Early Years" states that it is a dime novel published in Brave and Bold 198, 6 October 1906. He also states that is was published in serial form as "The Electric Air and Water Wizard" in "Good News" running in the 18 November 1893-3 February 1894 issues. Bleiler states that Emerson Bell is a pseudonym for Edward D. Stratemeyer (1861-1930).
