- There are at least three English translations both first published in 1967. The Grove Press edition was translated by Mirra Ginsburg. The Harper & Row, Signet and Collins editions were translations by Michael Glenny. The Penguin editions were translated by Richard Pevear & Larissa Volokhonsky.
