An elderly gentleman has the tradition of meeting the homeless vagrant Stuffy Pete every Thanksgiving and taking him to a restaurant for a hearty meal. One Thanksgiving, Stuffy Pete is unexpectedly treated to another meal by two generous women before meeting his benefactor; but goes with him to the restaurant anyway. A twist ending upsets expectations about the benefits of generosity.
