A "Children of the Sea" prequel. In 1813, Major John Harris returns home from the Napoleonic Wars to take up an unexpected inheritance. He meets and courts Morwenna of the finfolk.
Morwenna is the sister of Morgan, prince of the finfolk, who is the male protagonist of Children of the Sea #4: Immortal Sea. One of Morwenna & John's descendants makes an appearance in Children of the Sea #5: Forgotten Sea.
