An R.A.F. pilot recollects a story heard in Africa: two men live together; one of them is bad-tempered and kills their dog; the other one has an opportunity for perfect revenge when it seems that someone is stealing milk from their cow.
Borderline speculative. The plot depends on an unrealistic incident: a snake comes every night to drink milk from a cow's udders.
