Synopsis

Editor Gold takes writer Arthur Koestler to task for statements he'd made about science-fiction literature. Koestler claimed science-fiction was a habit-forming vice, like opium, and that humanity's sudden interest in life on other stars was because the human race was doomed to extinction.
