Concerning the relationship between this story and the identically-titled piece published in Chronicles of the Mutant Rain Forest, Bruce Boston notes, "The longer story version consists of an adventure in the Mutant Rain Forest interspersed with descriptions of holographic images taken by the lead character during the adventure. The short version in Chronicles consists of only the description of the images, which in this case function as prose poems."
