The last 4 lines of the second part are virtually identical to the first 4 lines of Howard's poem "The Song of Horsa's Galley"; the last 4 lines of the poem are virtually identical to the first 4 lines of Howard's poem "The Road to Hell".
Lines 1-3, 5-8, 13-16 and 9-12 are identical to lines 9-12, 29-32, 45-48 and 49-52, respectively, of version 2 ("The sin and jest of the times am I...").
