The world's leading broadcast journalist, who uses the information provided by his highly advanced artificially intelligent personal assistant which monitors all the public data in the world to secretly control events to guide humanity, becomes involved in a story wherein an American astronaut, presumed killed in a botched landing, suddenly reappears completely healed of any injuries, apparently due to a stay in a Swiss medical clinic.
