Notes

"This was originally done as a proposal for a children's book by Cooper Edens. no on really liked the story, but I got the best rejection letters I will ever get: everyone loved the painting. Finally the project seemed dead in the water, so I showed it at the World SF Convention in Anaheim, where it took Best of Show. Later it won the Chesley and ended up in Spectrum. currently I have found a New York publisher who is interested in the project, so it may see the light of day as a children's book after all."
