Tells the story of a man who falls asleep and wakes up some 500 years later in a utopian society.
Per Richard Klaw's foreword in Rayguns Over Texas, this story "came from Aurelia Hadley Mohl, one of the first professional female Texas journalists. ... The obscure tale appeared in four consecutive issues of the Houston Tri-Weekly Telegraph in late December, 1865. Mohl left no evidence explaining why she wrote the story and never produced another science fiction story."
