According to the Pulp Tales Press facsimile reprint of the January 1941 issue of Comet, in the "Rocket Mail" feature, in the second column, editor Orlin Tremaine answers a question as to who is the author of "The Spacean" is. He states that Warner Van Larne is the author, and that the author is responsible for the stories "Strange City", "World of Purple Light" and "Wanted--7 Fearless Engineers", and the author of these fictions is Nelson Tremaine.
