During a holiday at a Californian beach in a time that resembles the 1940s a young coloured man makes friends with a young white man. Whilst the white man tries to get a tanned skin by intensive sun-bathing, the coloured man uses special lotions which are supposed to make his skin lighter. They both suffer hefty sun-burn and also have to deal with a racist hot-dog stand owner.
A different story than the 1946 one as per Bradbury's introduction in his collection The Cat's Pajamas, in which he explains that the story was written in the 1940s but remained unpublished until 2004. He re-used the title from the 1946 story for this story simply because he liked the title. DO NOT MERGE.
