Notes
While this is included in the Victory Nelson, Investigator series this story is about Henry Fitzroy and is set in two periods. The first is modern times and then Henry does a flashback and recounts a story that begins in Venice during the year 1637. The modern times section does not mention Victory Nelson and the flashback predates her.
