Smuggler Bonnie Britewell is carrying two items from Mars to Earth: the results of a genetic engineering project implanted in her bone marrow, and a medallion encoding the key that will allow separating the foreign genetic material from her own. When the flight is delayed and the dormant sample activates and begins having strange effects on her, it's a good thing that there's also a cryptologist on the shuttle. Subtitled "J Is for Jewelry".
