This record represents the 2-page prologue of "Robin Goodfellow—His Friends", a 6-part serial comprising the prologue and six stories, which are in the database under their own names.
The six Robin Goodfellow stories are the 5th to 10th "Puck of Pook's Hill" stories, as published January to October 1906 in the UK monthly The Strand Magazine. The first four of those stories were published in the US monthly The Ladies' Home Journal, each with foretitle "Puck of Pook's Hill" (as well as in The Strand).
Evidently the prologue was necessary in McClure's, where "Puck of Pook's Hill" V to X (in The Strand) were promoted as a new series.
The prologue may not be included in any publications of the Puck of Pook's Hill collection, nor of "All the Puck Stories".
