Synopsis
A man in search of the best physician to cure his loved one buys a glass which will allow him to see ghosts, and is alarmed to find every single physician haunted by patients he has killed.
Notes
A versification of a well-known anonymous jest, which was published in English at least by 1811 and probably earlier; in the Monthly Magazine or British Register for April, 1811, it is said to originate with "a French writer."
