The illustration or decoration --two swans intertwined and circumscribed-- is one of multiple circular decorations by Maud Gonne in the 1910 collection Celtic Wonder-Tales. It appears alone on the last printed page in that book, immediately following the end of the text on p[202]; and on the even page following every story that ends on an odd page, such as page [12] (viewed at HathiTrust).
