Retitled "The Killer" and submitted to Spacemen, a Forrest J. Ackerman-edited magazine, in 1961; the magazine folded before the story could be published. It eventually appeared in Famous Monsters of Filmland #202 in 1994 with an introduction by Ackerman; the story is on page 25.
