The 1849/1850 UK/US title pages credit 24 illustrations by Richard Doyle.
Six engravers are credited at the foot of the Contents list in the 1st ed. (viewed as Project Gutenberg transcript):
"The Illustrations drawn by Richard Doyle, and engraved by G. Dalziel, E. Dalziel, Isabel Thompson, C. T. Thompson, Richard Thompson, and W. T. Green."
At least some of the illustrations display Doyle's stylized DR and the engraver's surname, eg DALZIEL or GREEN. For instance, see the US ed., p. 358 (viewed at HathiTrust).
