Nesbit's Nine Unlikely Tales (1901) were previously published in magazines. Probably the book illustrations credited as by Millar and Shepperson were illustrations by Millar or Shepperson separately (no joint work) for the original publications of the stories. So they are entered in the database as separate rather than joint works.
Consistent with this expectation, in the 1960 edition (viewed at Archive.org): The first interior illustration is signed "C.S." (p5). The headpiece and first illustration of the second story appear to be signed "H. R. Millar 1899" (p51, p59). (Illustrations stamped on the 1901 cover --front, back, and spine-- may be selected from both artists.)
