Synopsis
A professor's daughter reanimates a Mayan mummy whose nostrils had been filled with a mysterious substance that causes suspended animation. After she revives him by kissing him and praying to Kwan Yin, he explains that his soul no longer fits in his body—but would she care to join him? The professor finds her body the next morning.

Believed to be among the first known uses of the term 'suspended animation' in science fiction.
