This text comprises 3 chapters (7.5, 22.5 and 34.5) originally written for "Standing the Final Watch", but excluded from the first edition. As per the author's note in the 2021 edition of "Standing the Final Watch", which restored these chapters, they had been left out of the first edition "because of concerns over slowing it down".
