Synopsis
This is the story that sparked a genre that never got a chance to live... My Clarion classmate Dale Bailey calls this "Crackerpunk," and it's a funny, meandering, silly Twain-pastiche set in a far-future, subterranian Company town. It remains one of my favorite pieces, tho' no one's seen fit to publish it to date.
