''The Message from the Void'' was a Nelson S. Bond story published in the February 1939 issue of ''Dynamic Science Stories'' as by "Hubert Mavity" since Bond already had a story in the issue. The editor accidentally disclosed the pseudonym by billing Bond as "author of ''The Message from the Void''".
