Blenkinthrope tells outlandish stories about his life, which are eagerly accepted although he makes them up because they're what people want to hear. But then something genuinely extraordinary happens--his wife dies after completing the Death's Head Patience game, the third member of her family to die that way--and when Blenkinthrope tells about it, it does not go over well and is dismissed as a yarn.
