Clovis, a dedicated prankster, overhears a conversation on a train: A man says that he is growing too stodgy in his love of routine and his friend says there ought to be such a thing as an unrest-cure in such cases. Clovis, having noted down the man's address from his luggage tag, decides to administer the cure, and begins by sending a telegram announcing that a Bishop will be arriving for a stay.
According to Brian Gibson in Reading Saki, this story was first published in the Westminster Gazette, April 1, 1910.
