Synopsis
A boy is taken prey by fits of malaria and finds solace in the derelict garden of a big house that has seen the tragic end of a family. One day he is found by a girl who introduces him to a witch, her birds, cats and a leopard, and also to Poor Little Saturday. He is healed from his illness and is offered a gift that nobody outside the house shall see ...
