She and Allan

Published as serials in "multiple British American periodicals", according to Visual Haggard (above). But VH names only two serials, both with numerous illustrations: • Hutchinson's Story Magazine (London), July 1919 to March 1920 (9 mo.), illus. {{a|Maurice Greiffenhagen}}, as She Meets Allan • The Sandusky Register (Ohio, USA), Sundays 1919-12-14 to 1920-03-28 (16 wk.), illus. {{a|Edmund Frederick}} with frontispiece by Vincent Aderente (VH displays many illustrations, including as full-page images of the newspaper probably all of those by Frederick .)

She and Allan is a prequel to both King Solomon's Mines (1885) and She (1886), which introduced Quatermain and Ayesha respectively. It should be considered part of the Ayesha/She series, perhaps also (as at Wikipedia) the Zulu Nation/Umslopogaas series, but Ayesha and Zulu Nation at ISFDB contain only stories in which Quatermain does not appear.
