--summary, {{OCLC|60236374}} on the 1995 chapbook
Evidently original to the 1984 collection.
Uninvited Ghosts and Other Stories lists previous publications of three stories among eight, not this one, and the 1st ed. front jacket flap blurbs "five of them new, three previously published in anthologies" (1984 Heinemann ed. previewed at Open Library).
British Library record {{BL|010719302}} mistakenly notes this story published in Jubilee Jackanory (BBC, 1977). That anthology contains a different story by Lively; WorldCat {{OCLC|7442671}} provides a list of contents.
