The Wreck of the Titan

Probably all four of these titles (variously fashioned) have been used for the story and/or chapbooks that contain it: • Futility • Futility, or The Wreck of the Titan • The Wreck of the Titan • The Wreck of the Titan, or Futility The latter, at least, has been used for 4-story collection first published in 1914 (see).

According to Wikipedia, "After the sinking of Titanic [April 1912] the novel was reissued with some changes, particularly in the ship's gross tonnage." Wikipedia cites History on the Net; both sources are linked above.

Concerning the UK edition in John Clute's collection (London: Arthur F Bird, 1912), SFE3 reports "text apparently identical to the above", the original.
