Danielle Ackley-McPhail is an author, editor and publisher.
She has worked in the publishing business as a project editor and promotions manager for a number of small presses before founding her own publishing house, eSpec Books. She is the senior editor of several anthologies.
Her published works include, next to urban fantasy and a young adult steampunk novels, the non-fiction writers' guide 'The Literary Handyman'.
She is a former member of SFWA, the Garden State Speculative Fiction Writers, the New Jersey Authors Network, and Broad Universe, a writer's organization focusing on promoting the works of women authors in the speculative genres. She is a current member of the Horror Writers Association.
Danielle lives in New Jersey with husband and fellow writer, Mike McPhail (as of 2020-06-16).
