Sharman DiVono (born 11 October 1949) was the primary writer of the Star Trek comic strip from mid-1981 through late 1982. DiVono has written a variety of things through the years, from "Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm: The Man from Planet X" and "Tarzan" comic books, to (with William Rotsler, ghost writing as Victor Appleton) a number of Tom Swift novels in the early 1980s, to a solo novel Blood Moon in 1999. On television, DiVono worked on both Garfield and Friends and G.I. Joe as one of the series writers. Larry Niven collaborated with DiVono on "The Wristwatch Plantation" story arc in the comic strip.
