Trivia - The author apparently so liked the name of his main character in the novel Transit, that he began using it as one of his pseudonyms - Richard Avery.
The pseudonym George Kinley used for the 1954 publication of Ferry Rocket was not known up to and including the first publication of Clute / Nicholls in 1993. Specifically, it is not identified in any of Clute / Nicholls, Currey, Harbottle/Holland, Reginald1 or Tuck although Reginald1 suspects Kinley to be a pseudonym without knowing the real name.
