A message is received from extra-terrestrials. They explain that the human race on Earth started as a colony of theirs; they're finally coming back, long after contact was lost; and they have a cure for an unfortunate illness that afflicted the early colonists.

This short story should not be merged with the identically titled short fiction from The Lost Worlds of 2001 (1972) as these are completely different pieces.
