Attributed to Malcolm Jameson on cover. A letter in the February 1943 issue written under the name Mary MacGregor (Malcolm Jameson's wife) appears to complain about the error, stating "I know darn well I don't want my first and maybe only story to go down the chute as just another Jameson yarn." The fact that the magazine's only acknowledgement of the error is the letter itself, accompanied by the headline "We wuz wrong--and she wuz robbed!" may be clues that the letter is not to be taken at face value.
