The title pages for "Smith of Wootton Major", "Farmer Giles of Ham", "The Adventures of Tom Bombadil" credit Pauline Baynes, as well. The table of contents in this volume is full of errors. Very few of the contents begin on the pages indicated there. In "Introduction (Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, Pearl and Sir Orfeo)", it is clear that Christopher Tolkien wrote it as he refers to "my father" at least once in it.
